The portable apps are really helpfull in my opinion. there is also an portable anti-virus on that website. It isn't the best anti-virus.

you also can have a anti-spyware program like Spybot S&D (Search and Destroy) on your USB stick.

if you want this just install Spybot S&D on your computer and copy paste the spybot S&D Map on your USB stick. and run It from your USB at school or other places.

you also can run the tiny anti-virus tools on your USB stick.
like the Mcafee Stinger Tool. and the Avast Virus/Worm Cleaner application.

Wow, that's a lot of cool software to check out. I'm not a teacher but this stuff is helpful for running a small business too. FYI you can get a lot of the software you mentioned at cheap educational discounts on CampusTech.com too.
